nap smiles

so matthew has been protesting very loudly his naps on day three and four of this. but i dont know what switched for this afternoon nap. instead of screaming when i lay him on his belly in the crib, he would close his eyes, then open them, look up at me and smile, lay his head back down, close his eyes, open them, look up at me and smile. AND repeat the process for about 30 minutes till he fell asleep. im pretty sure that was still part protest.
