I Guess We Can't Do Everything

We have been seriously considering a ten week mission trip this summer either in NYC or New Orleans. We prayed about it for a week or so. The job would have been fun; Michael was pumped about the idea and what we would be doing. It was totally something for us; we always like to be working together. The situation seemed pretty good. We don't have a lease, Michael has flexible jobs, and they said it would be just fine to bring a baby. We are often ones that always jump into the next thing, but for someone reason Jesus did not give us a peace about this one. He is telling us to stay put for now while continuing to actively seek his face and love those we are with here. Its ok. Im not too sad. Yeah, I have always wanted to live in both those places. But I guess we cant do everything. And I am ok with that.
