New Hat

Ok, so since matthew may have had a few tough spots today adjusting to one nap we decided to do a little shopping. He got some shoes, shorts, stroller, a singing bus, and a brand new hat. He is rocking the hat, even with those tired eyes.

 

I also have a TON of pictures of Matthew that I just need to take the time to upload and post.

New Things!

I have a ton on my mind about Matthew's new stage. But two new things. He is clapping now and he has officially cut a nap. We tried for a week to see if it was juts a fluke that he wasn't going to take both naps, but after this morning I decided he really was not tired enough.  So we are moving on, and with the nice weather approaching this is a blessing. Two naps a day with the winter was nice since we were inside more, but this is so much more out of the house freedom now. And his mood is hardly phased with one nap so it really must be the case. plus we never want to force matthew into a schedule. his body just naturally does it on its own and it works wonderfully for him and is very predictable for us for most day. he is so happy when we listen to his body. and well, one nap a day it is!

Breath!

Man. This last week has been busy. We just did a little party for my sister's 3rd baby that is due on Thursday (YAY!) and Mike's brother and his wife have been in town. It has been GREAT! We had some great times with Mikes family. But mostly after the shower today, Im exhausted. Sometimes I get really weird OCD for a few days and I go insane if my house is even a little messy. SO STRANGE because Im not normally like that. But since Matthew is now an 11 month old child tornado and food dropper, I was going to make my self crazy with how much I was picking up every second of the day. eeer. When I came home from the shower today (which turned out fabulous), Matthew went infant on me and was inconsolable for 45 minutes when I told him it was sleepy time which brought back waaaaaay too many exhausting memories. But he is finally asleep and I am enjoying some awesome quiet and a clean house! =)
